Caroline Ergetie, Managing Director
Caroline originates from Sweden where she studied languages and Business Administration. She began her career in Hong Kong Real Estate in 1984 and headed the Property Department of Guardian Property Management Ltd. In 1988 she entered into a joint-partnership to acquire House Hunters Limited. Later, in 1994, she assumed 100% control of House Hunters’ and became its Managing Director. Having lived in three continents she has acquired an in-depth knowledge of clients’ cultural backgrounds enhancing the support offered to clients who are relocating to Hong Kong. Caroline speaks Swedish, French and English.

Sophie graduated from University in France with a Master Degree in Marketing. She has 14 years experience in sales and 10 years in the property business in Hong Kong. This combined with being a French native, she is well versed in identifying and satisfying House Hunters’ French corporate and individual clients relocation requirements. Her fluency in English is a valuable asset in liaising between our customers and landlords.

A native from Holland where she studied Psychology at the University of Leiden. She moved to Hong Kong in 2000. After living in Hong Kong for 2.5 years, she moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. After being away for a couple of years she was really happy to relocate back to Hong Kong in 2005 and joining our team at House Hunters! As a working mother of two young children, she understands a family's particular needs and solving problems encountered when relocating to Hong Kong! From Hong Kong with many years of experience in the tourism industry as well as working as a manager in a trading company, Stanley has a very gentle and pleasant way of handling people. When he is not driving our clients for property viewings, he also helps out with work within the office! Our “little clients” often prefer to stay in the car with Stanley instead of following their parents to the many property viewings done in a day!

Orientation
House Hunters organizes guided orientation tours for new client's to Hong Kong wishing to have a more in-depth idea on what living in Hong Kong is all about.
We offer whole day or half day packages which are tailor made depending on the family or the individual's need. This may involve a transport tour, shopping tour, cultural tour of Landmark buildings in Central, Wanchai, and/or Kowloon, it may also involve visits to Recreational/Members Clubs, general school visits, explanation of Medical Care and possibly driving by the main private and public hospitals. We offer whole day and half day packages starting at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm (transport included) or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (lunch and transport for the day included).
Final Touch
Post-move assistance
Upon the Handover of the premises, HouseHunters arranges for the utility connections, i.e. water, gas, electricity, telephone, broadband and cable TV to be installed, and is available to advise on any other queries the client may have after settling into their new home.
Relocation
Immigration Department
An application for a work permit is submitted for the Principal person and for each accompanying adult. This service is outsourced directly to our service provider.
School Search & Application
The School search includes: obtaining relevant information from the student's home based schools, filling out and submitting the forms, calling each school to make the relevant appointments for interviews. The fee is for applications of up to three schools, and it excludes any deposits (refundable or not) and translation fees that may be required by each School.
In the event of non-placement of the student, the fee is still applicable.
Cultural Training
Home Search
The home search requires an initial meeting either in person or by phone to understand the family situation and narrow the areas in which the family may choose to live. This process may take from a day to a week and sometimes slightly longer. The standard fee of half of one month rental payable on or before the Handover of the premises.
Shipping Services
We work closely with a select few moving companies and are happy to liaise your move with our service provider(s).
